Warehouse Coordinator

Title: Warehouse Coordinator
Classification:  Nonexempt – hourly
Department:  Operations

Reports to: Operations Manager



Responsible for the acquiring, disbursement, tracking, stocking and storage of all inventory for the company.

Essential Functions

  1. Receives equipment, parts and pieces of material by purchase orders, verifies all purchase orders and stocks all pieces necessary for jobs.
  2. Gathers all parts and pieces of materials for the day to be used by Install Department and stages it for the following days business.
  3. Stages material for restocking service trucks with necessary supplies and inventory weekly.
  4. Must have a working knowledge of all parts, pieces and equipment used by company on every job.
  5. Safely operates forklift to load and unload inventory.
  6. Responsible for any unused equipment, parts and pieces being restocked accurately back into the appropriate storage location.
  7. Responsible for shopping on behalf of the company at specialty stores for supplies needed at job sites.
  8. Occasionally deliver parts, pieces and equipment to job sites.
  9. Responsible for safety of property including locking warehouse and using alarm system appropriately to secure company property.
  10. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  11. Work on special projects as assigned by management as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

The work environment noise level is usually moderate but will vary occasionally. The work environment will subject employees to continual interruptions and changing priorities. Effective, consistent, and constant communication with customers, vendors, co-workers, and others is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to sharp objects and moving mechanical parts and vibration.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. but can work extra hours during busy season.


Limited travel around North Florida and South Georgia is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Training of forklift operation equipment is required.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. High school diploma
  2. Familiar with local area
  3. HVAC business experience

  • Must be in possession of a legal Driver’s License and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Must be courteous and respectful to customers and coworkers
  • Must be respectful of company property and follow safe handling procedures for large items.
