Meet Travis Stephens, Quality Control Supervisor

When Travis Stephens was hired at 19, he knew very little about the heating and air conditioning industry. Today, 13 years later, he is a quality control specialist and an important member of the Barineau team. As the installation supervisor, Travis works with the installation crews to ensure each crew has what they need to complete the job, and that every project is completed to the homeowner’s satisfaction and meets Barineau’s quality control standards. Because of his experience and expertise, he also lends a helping hand when needed.

While Travis was born in Houston, Texas, he considers himself a Tallahassee native, as he has lived in the capital city since he was 4 years old. Barineau feels like a second home to him, and he appreciates how the company feels like one big family. He likes that he can continue to expand his knowledge of the industry, and how he works for a company that is small enough that the owner knows his name and they talk every day.

When Travis isn’t providing comfort for homeowners across north Florida and south Georgia, he enjoys football, football, and even more football. When the season ends, Travis spends his time staying in the sun like a true Floridian – whether that means going to a local lake or a beautiful beach.
