‘Tis the Season for Giving
As 2018 winds down, we can’t help but be thankful for everyone we’ve had the pleasure to work with over the past year. This was a trying year for many in our service area as the Big Bend region saw its third, and most destructive, hurricane in as many years. It’s hard to believe it was only two months ago that we were bracing for Hurricane Michael and praying for the best.
Many of our neighbors have been temporarily or even permanently displaced and are still recovering from the effects of the category 4 hurricane. It was a blessing to see so many members of our community come together to help and support one another in the aftermath of the storm, but anyone who has seen the debris trucks rolling throughout town well into December knows there is still a lot of work left to be done between Tallahassee and Panama City.
Because it’s the season of giving, we’d like to highlight a few programs to help area families. First, if you’d like to donate money to hurricane relief efforts, the American Red Cross North Florida Chapter is a great way to give. Visit their website to learn how you can help victims of Hurricane Michael and other disasters, big and small.
If you’d like to help out a local family this Christmas, there are several adopt-a-family programs that assist families in need across Leon and surrounding counties each holiday season. Please consider signing up to volunteer your time, donate money or adopt a family to help fulfill their basic needs and holiday wishes. It’s a fantastic program that we would urge anyone to participate in.
As winter sets in, please reach out to Barineau Heating and Air Conditioning should you have any issues with your heating and air conditioning system. We’ve already seen a few nights where the temperatures have dipped into the 30s and we are ready to help keep you and your home comfortable from now until spring. If you need to make an appointment with our team, you can schedule an appointment online, text us for service, livechat with a Barineau team member or call our office at (850) 580-4029.
Lastly, congratulations to the FSU Soccer team for winning their second national title in five years. These women were fighters all season long and it was a thrill to watch Coach Krikorian and the Seminoles bring another national championship back to Tallahassee. As proud supporters of FSU Athletics, we’re happy to see FSU Futbol back on top!
As always, thank you for trusting Barineau Heating and Air to keep you and your loved ones comfortable. Merry Christmas and stay warm this winter.
Sincerely,
Patrick Barineau
