Meet Kyle Peters, Lead Service Technician

 In Team Barineau

Kyle Peters is currently our lead service technician. He has worked in the HVAC industry for 14 years, including the past six years with the Barineau team. He began as a service technician and was promoted to his current role in 2016.

Born in Fort Hood, Texas, Kyle describes himself as an Army brat. His family settled in Tallahassee when he was 8, when his father retired from military service. Kyle himself spent four years in the Army as an infantryman.

Kyle says he likes his job as a technician because he enjoys troubleshooting and getting to the bottom of problems. He has certifications from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) program. Kyle has also taken courses on the Carrier Infinity and Bryant Evolution units. He says he’s always learning at Barineau, and there’s something new to learn every day. His favorite aspect of working at Barineau is the work environment.

“I think we have a great group for our industry and I don’t mind getting up and going to work every day,” Kyle says. “[Barineau], by far, takes the best care of its employees.”

Most of Kyle’s spare time is centered around his family. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Hailey, and their three children. Kyle also runs the Barineau Heating and Air softball team, where he does it all as a utility player. So whether you see Kyle on the diamond or at work, be sure to tip your cap and say hello.
