Always Be Comfortable, Even in the Summer Heat

Late July and early August is the hottest time of the year. No one understands better than the Barineau Heating and Air family that our air conditioning system doesn’t pay much attention to the calendar if it decides to stop working. That’s why our family has been committed to keeping area families comfortable for 45 years.

We also work hard to provide you with helpful information in the “news” section of our website. Recently, we’ve touched on subjects that include answers to summer questions about your air conditioning, how smart thermostats work and how to stay cool when your air conditioning goes out. We hope you find these topics helpful and you continue to visit our website for more helpful tips and the latest Barineau Heating and Air news.

Sometimes, though, the heat and humidity of summer in North Florida and South Georgia takes its toll and you need to replace your system. This time of year, even a day or two without air – especially if your children or senior citizens are in the home – can be a problem. That is why, when possible, we will provide temporary or portable units the same day to ensure you remain comfortable until the installation of your new unit can be scheduled.

If you haven’t already, now is a great time to take small steps to ensure that your air conditioning unit is working properly and efficiently. Check your unit to make sure that there are not too many leaves or too much yard debris in its immediate vicinity. Also, make sure you are routinely changing your air filters. A dirty air filter is one of the easiest ways to hamper the efficiency of your air conditioning system, and could lead to further, more costly problems.

Lastly, if something doesn’t seem right, please give us a call. You don’t want to wait until it’s too late if there’s an issue with your system. And, of course, the best way to ensure your system remains in top shape is to take advantage of our Total Comfort Service Agreement. Call us today to sign up.

Thank you for continuing to put your faith in Barineau Heating and Air,

Larry Barineau
